Philosophy is more than just an academic subject in which pitiable undergraduates are forced to take classes. It is a process of inquiry and interpretation that probes every layer of human experience. Consequently, it is best practiced outside of the classroom. The purpose of this blog is to migrate its author’s thoughts from the narrow confines of his head, and the occasional presentations in academia, to a wider and more consciously public presence. Consequently, I will not invest time with matters reducible to “The Diary of ME,” however entertaining such flotsam might be from and for other people. On the other hand, I will occasionally stoop to such bits of jetsam as relate to my past and future publications.
I aim to keep my posts somewhere in the 1200 — 1350 word range. This is a personal challenge to force me to present my thoughts in a succinct format.
